Life is uncertain, eat dessert first.
If you are ready for just a quick and easy treat then this one is for you. My current go to snack when I want something sweet but not really bad, if you know what I mean.. You probably already make this and this post is more of a reminder than anything. Personally I get so caught up in the fancy complicated desserts I forget about the good old-fashioned simple recipes. I have always made this for my kids as they were growing up. A recipe I would let them help with until one bad accident. My daughter Jewels cut right through her little finger slicing the apples. Might be best to have the little ones assist with the mixing or measuring. No worries, she still loves to cook and bake. This is a recipe she included in the cookbook assembled for a fundraiser at college. Awwwwh :) That’s my girl. Coming home soon from school in New York can’t wait. Honest! Amazed at how little these kids are actually in class for the amount of money I pay!!!!!!!! See you soon lovey……

Apple Crisp is an old favourite and how nice that your daughter included it in her fundraiser cookbook for school. Enjoy your visit when she arrives home
