For the most part Easter is the end of Peep season. Always a sad day for me, being the die-hard Peep fan that I am. Don’t tell anyone but I stash several boxes for later when I can’t find them in stores. I never know when a Peep craving is going to surface. I believe the shelf life of a Peep is four years. Not that I’ve ever been able to keep them in the house for any length of time!
Somehow dessert on a stick looks inviting to me. These kebabs are super easy to assemble. You’ll need to make mini cupcakes and some rice krispy treats, or use chocolate dipped marshmallows. Any flavor goes!
The secret is to add lots of sprinkles to all the elements you make. I just melt some chocolate wafers in the microwave slowly, dip the top of the marshmallow in and roll them in sprinkles.
For these kebabs I just cut the rice krispy treats in small squares. Next just poke all the goodies on the kebab sticks. Any order is fine. Remember use the longest sticks you can find, they hold more, I use 12″.
Bagged and ready to give out as gifts!! Perfect party favor. What could be easier……
Just incase you were wondering I just added this to Tidy Mom’s Link Party!

How fun are these kebabs! It’s not only kids that enjoy treats served up in this fashion.
Ooh, I’ll have to try this out the next time I throw a party for my kids! Thanks for sharing such a delicious idea.
The kids will love these trust me!
How cute! Love this idea! I found you on pinterest and just tweeted for you!
Thanks Jerri!!
Have fun!!!!
I love these! But I keep having visions of kids poking themselves in the mouth with the sharp end, or chasing after each other with their empty sticks. Maybe that’s just my kids… LOL!
Some kids will make anything a sword or poke someone. My son would have played with the stick but my daughter would have let it alone!
Great idea, I’m going to try this over the weekend with my kids. thanks:)
