My love affair with Peeps

Dear Peeps,

I love you very much.   I think about you all the time.  I love the way you melt in my mouth but first taste so sugary.  Please marry me so we can be together always!

Yes I have an obsession with Peeps. You could safely say it’s parallel to my fascination with the Weiner Mobile.

My bologna has a first name it’s O-S-C-A-R

 

Started as a little girl, my aunt used to bring them to me.  There is something I love about the synthetic taste and texture of Peeps.  I have run several experiments involving a microwave and the little guys.  None of which I will repeat here.   Of course now you can get Peeps for all occasions.  If you’ve been following me for any length of time you have probably seen my creations.

Never met a Peep I didn’t like.

Recipe for Halloween Peep Kebab

I started with a cake pop on the end of a skewer.  Then I just alternated mini cupcakes with peeps.  You can add anything that you can poke with a skewer.  On the Easter Kebabs I used Rice Krispy treats.
