It was my honor and pleasure to have Rachel come to our shop in Walnut Creek. I consider her to be a leading expert in the cupcake arena. Her blog is my go to place for anything cupcakes. The interview to follow lasted about an hour. We talked about how she got started blogging, what the upcoming trends are for cupcakes, and why are these darn things so popular. I cut the video down to 12 minutes and that was hard to do without cutting the juicy stuff! Sooooo much information, so little time. Honestly I could have talked shop for hours and was sorry to see her leave. I am truly fascinated by this cupcake trend. When I opened my shop 4 years ago I got into cupcakes by accident. I was planning to start a cookie shop! People have written that cupcakes are dying but I just don’t see it. Am I blind? Enjoy:)
